Philanthropic

The Sponsors of Musical Enrichment has seen the benefits that music has made in peoples lives. With the continuing struggle that most performing art groups face, they knew that ways were needed for encouraging and supporting local programs.

S.O.M.E. is entirely self-supported, and each year, raises funds through community events, then donates the proceeds to numerous art and music programs that are traditionally dependent upon out side resources.

In 2014, S.O.M.E. has provided funds to the following performing arts groups:

     —  Jim Ott Brass Ensemble: $1,500
     —  St. Andrews Noble Order of Royal Scots: $1,000
     —  New Dance Studio: $500
     —  Sunflower – $500
     —  Rosemont High School Band: $500
